Pre Op Fear

I’m really scared that they’ll find something in my medical history that will make them cancel my op??

I don’t know why I fear this because I haven’t lied about anything and I haven’t had anti depressants or counselling in four years, so there shouldn’t be a problem, but still.

Can anyone make me feel reassured?

Don’t be daft your just nervous I’ve had mental medical history and I’m fine that was only 2 years ago I think you have to be 6 months free xxx

Your gonna be fine as ur op gets closer u worry more. Just realx . Call ur nurse if ur worried and see if wverything is ok x

Thank you Kel and Cath! I also take Ritalin occasionally (haven’t taken it since January though) but I put that on my medical form so surely I’d have been rejected by now if Ritalin wasn’t acceptable to take? Xxx

I couldn’t go with mya cos j had antidepressants in December came off them Jan as didn’t really need them and they won’t operate until it’s been 6 months, so I’ve gone elsewere it’s only mya that have the antidepressants rules xx

Oh okay, I haven’t taken them for yeeears so I should be ok then hopefully? Presumably they would’ve told me about my Ritalin already cause I’ve already told them about it xx

U will b fine hun ? I have my pre op this week I’m nervous too as scared i won’t b good enough for surgery but I’m perfectly healthy lol its just that fear I think we all get,xx
