pre op, how long no alcohol?

how long are we not supposed to drink alcohol for before the op?xx

2 weeks it says on my paperwork hun as it thins the blood not good for surgery xx

My nurse said two weeks before and two weeks after! Roll on Monday so I can have a glass of wine….or 3 haha xxx

My nurse said 2 weeks before and 6 weeks after!! I’m going to double check on that as 8 weeks in total is a long time to go without a drink, especially as it’s my birthday 4 weeks after the op!
