Pre op today and feeling deflated :/

Hi ladies

So meet the surgeon today ms lutz she’s nice enough, friendly and chatting but after her having a look and talking about the different sizes the size she suggested was 225cc, which I feel abit down about I managed to ask for 250cc high profile and she said that’s the biggest she was happiest to go to. I’m 5,9 and 9st 3lb and currently a 32a I was hoping to become a 32d.

Is there anyone who’s going through the same or has had 250cc just to put my mind at rest or is this me having my first boob greed.

I had this with a different surgeon at My Breast as my base measurement was very narrow at 10.3cm he said it was all that would fit and look natural. He offered me 240cc Mod plus only.

So I went for a second surgeon consultation at Mya with Linda Firmera who isn’t a fan of the fake look either. She said a 240cc would take me to a B cup and if I wanted to be a C or D that 300-350 would suit my frame in high profile as they’d have a narrower base.

I asked her to order both 325 and 350 and to pick which she felt would suit my frame better whilst I was in theatre. I ended up
having 350cc on the day and yes with swelling they look huge but now they’re going down I’m going to 100% end up as a big C small D which is exactly what I asked for.

If you’re not happy go and get a second opinion, there may be measurement reasons that dictate you can only have a small size and small implants do go a long way on some people. But that’s usually petite size 6/8 7-8 stone girls.

If two surgeons tell you the same thing you’ll need to trust them. I wasn’t happy and knew that 240 would’ve been pointless on me and I’m so glad I did get a second opinion and go with Mya, I look exactly the same in clothes as I did pre op with a massive padded bra on. I’m happy enough with them looking gigantic naked and a good size clothed.

For 5,9″ it seems a very small size to me, but I’m not a surgeon! Lol.

That does seem like a small size for your stats :/ im 5 ft 6, 9 stone and getting 400cc from a 32 a which my traynor said would take me to a d/dd. But the surgeons know best dont they, maybe ask to see another surgeon and see what they recommened xx

I’m 5″6, 115lbs and getting 350cc teardrop unders which should take me to a 30D/DD. Obviously our bodies are all different but I’d ask for a second opinion. Don’t go for something you’re not happy with!!

Im 5ft 2″ bout 9.7st 34a/b and im having 450cc …… That does seem small for Ur frame ur def better off seeing 1 maybe 2 more surgeons xx

Im with mya , and ms lutz said because I have a petite frame and don’t have a lot of muscle for my implant to go under the size of the implant would have to be 250cc otherwise they would be sticking out if I went bigger (you would see the implant) , I’m all booked in for my op 28th of June. She told me there would be surgeon out there that would give me 400cc but they would look ” stuck on ” :S I want to look natural and I want to trust her as she’s doing them everyday.

If Ur happy with her and she knows it will achieve the look you want then your right to trust her she does do a lot of ba’s, im hoping mine don’t look stuck on but obviously im a lot shorter than u and way a little bit more, ive had 4kids aswell so my boobs have been stretched before lukily they don’t sag (maybe if I had more they would lol) xx

Don’t feel deflated, i had 275 mod and am now a 32DD in M&S. I’m 6 months PO.
I’m 5’8 and 11st, i could have got much larger, but didn’t want huge boobs. Add me if u wanna see pics on my profile

I had 250cc Mod Profile overs/sub-glandular. Dr. Fiumara was my surgeon and we thought 225cc was the biggest I could go OVER the muscle but on the day 250cc fit so we went with these.
I was recommended under the muscle at 300/325cc for best results so it’s at my own risk as I wanted to go above the muscle.
I’m only 1 week post op but so far so good, and my check up today went well. I’m really pleased I chose the smaller size as I wanted over the muscle due to my lifestyle, but trust your surgeons opinion on sizes as it can vary so much from person to person, and the cup size afterwards will vary depending on how much breast tissue you have to start with, etc (I was a very flat 32aa/a and have been told I will probably be a C cup)
Are you able to book another consultation before your op to give you peace of mind? I was back and forth quite a lot deciding what to do and everyone was really helpful, honest and supportive.

I’m very happy with my results so far- it’s so nice to have boobs finally!!

Wtf!!! I’m 5,4 and 8.5 stone was a 32b and I had 400 cc

I know the surgeons must know what they are talking about but maybe get a 2nd opinion from another one

I’ve emailed my consultant this morning and she phoning me later , as I was so excited before my surgeon consultation and now I feel shit. But see what my consultants says :/

Hi Laura, I felt exactly the same as you before. I too saw Ms Lutz who said due to the lack of breast tissue and more skin (breastfed 2kids), the biggest I could go is 225cc HP Unders which I was so gutted about at first because you don’t see many girls on here with smaller implants but now I totally agree with her and trust her judgement. I am a small size 6/8 32aa and I have always said I wanted the natural look and I think the 225 will be perfect for my small frame. I’m booked for my op on the 4th July 🙂 Don’t be disheartened by girls who are the same size as you and who are going for bigger implants because everybody is different and the 225cc might get you the size you want. Hi Laura my advice would be dont look at what everyone else has, even though it is so tempting and we get so caught up comparing oursleves. All of our bodies differ dramatically, you could be the same weight and height as somebody but have a completely different build! Trust your surgeon, they are the experts and know best. I have seen some amazing results on here with the smaller implants but if you arent happy I would 100% see another surgeon for a second opinion. Im 5ft 6 and 9st4 and have have been offered 265’s and i have been worrying myself sick that they arent going to be big enough and driving myself mad searching for comparisons! Go with your gut instruct and talk it over with your surgeon, I got for my pre-op next Wednesday and I am going to discuss sizing again to put my mind at rest! Its so stressful. Thanks Alexa and Marinela, you’ve both be very helpful and I didn’t know if it was just me having boob greed , the nurse at my pre op told me it wasn’t always a good idea to look on the forum and I can now understand why 🙁 I keep seeing people having 300cc and I can’t help but want the same :/
