Pre op…what to expect

I’ve got my pre op on the 3rd, will they be taking bloods?

Hiya, I was told by my patient coordinator that they would take bloods but the nurse didn’t. She just weighed me, asked my height and went through my medical history, and gave me leaflets on mastopexy and breast enlargement and what to take to hospital and when to stop eating / drinking before op and make up/nail varnish/piercings have to bevremoved.

I think (though I could be wrong) whether or not they take blood depends on what they find in your medical form. The nurse read through mine with me then said that she wouldn’t need to take any blood.

That’s the impression I got anyway.

But it’s so hard to take everything in!
Excited but so nervous at the same time, so it’s hard to concentrate!
