Pre op – what to expect?

I have my pre op today and am unsure of what to expect. I have a huge needle phobia – is a blood test compulsory? I had a surgery recently with no complications (non cosmetic).

Advice would be appreciated!

Hi, I had to have bloods but I know a lot of people didn’t. It depends on your procedure and your medical history I think. Don’t worry about it too much, think of the end result!! X

Thanks Naomi! Trying to just such a phobia! If I have to then I will just need to stop being a baby but wanted to know if there was a chance I could get out of it!

I’ve seen quite a lot of girls on here say they didn’t need to have bloods so you never know! My op is two weeks today! Aaaah! Doesn’t seem real yet! X

Didn’t need them! Huge relief, now just to stress about the cannula in my hand & drains! Oh wow. you must be so excited! Mine is 3 weeks Friday – excited but equally nervous!x
