Pre-operative Assessment

I have my pre-operative assessment today at 2.30pm! Can anyone advise what is going to happen please??

Hi i went for mine on tuesday.

They just confirm to you all your details, your name, address DOB, the implants you have chose etc.. they will ask if you have any allergies, your height and weight ( some people actually get weighed i never) they take your blood pressure, and take a couple of pics. They give you a do and donts pack for the day of your op. Thats it.lol
It took me an hour and a half to get there and was only in there 10 mins. I also paid my balance when i was there to. Then the next day they rung me with my admission time. x x x good luck xxx

Can’t believe you were only there for a short time! Surely they could have sent the info pack in the post??

Yeah it was exactly the same as yours!! haha, felt a bit of a wasted train journey! But have my info pack so I suppose it was worth it really! lol. When is your admission time?? And your op date?? The nurse said they would ring 4 days before the op with my admission time!
