Pre opp preparation

Hey ladies,

I’ve got my surgery booked for the 3rd July and was wondering when they usually ask for blood test as I’ve researched and some patients have to get it from their GP but I’m not sure if your surgeon does it in the second consultation? I was just wondering as they haven’t mentioned it yet and that it takes weeks to get a booking with my GP especially now because of corona

Hi Cassie. If you are with Mya I believe they book you in a couple of weeks before your surgery Op date to have bloods and measurements taken this includes meeting the surgeon too. Due to COVID my PC said the nurse may also give me a call beforehand
