    Hey,
I’ve been looking at getting my boobs enlarged for a couple of years now but never had the guts to do it.

I had a baby 10 months ago, stopped breast feeding and my boobs have gone smaller than they were before so I hate them even more. I am getting married in early July, tried my dress on yesterday and my heart sank when I realised just how much ‘space’ I had in my dress 🙁

I haven’t had an initial consultation or anything yet, but hoping that a last minute slot will come up…with my wedding being on the 8th july, my first dress fitting with the alteration lady on the 8th May and my hen do on 20th may, am I better off leaving it until after my wedding?

Any and all advice welcome, please 🙂

You’d prob have to have the op end April to be ok for your hen, or after your first dress fitting (just bring something to fill
The dress out to your anticipated size roughly.

My biggest regret from when we got married in 2015 is how poorly my dress fitted on my bust even with a primark boost your assets bra sewn inside. I really don’t like any of our wedding photos because of it, silly really but I’m insanely insecure about my bust.

I’m not even an A cup though and everyone is different. Maybe arrange a consultation and discuss options including healing with the advisor? My concern would be that your size will change from the op day until your wedding day, if you get the dress fitted even 4 weeks before, the bust may need changing again because implants change massively over the first 12 weeks.

I’m not even an A cup (she says sitting in the garden wearing a wonderba that’s achieving nothing…), and I don’t want massive implants, a C cup would be nice!!

My main worry is how much they’ll change, I’ve seen loads about dropping and fluffing, having to wear supportive bras for ages afterwards etc, so wasn’t sure if it’s too late now? My dress is backless…

It’s not silly at all! I am worried about feeling the same 🙁

Do you know what you have planned for your hen? I am just over 2 weeks post op so I am over the worst of the pain, its just I have to wear these unflattering sports bras 24 hours a day for 6-8 weeks, so everything I wear has to take into account the bra!
If you are desperate to have surgery before your wedding then I would maybe have it straight after your hen so you will have roughly 6 weeks to recover before the wedding! 🙂

I rang MYA up last thiursday for a initial consultation and had a chat with a woman called Abbie. I’m going on holiday start of June and I explained I’d really love to have them done before and I’d obviously need adleast 2 weeks recovery as only going down to scarborough… she could of got me in for a consultation the following day or Monday but with work I took a appointment on tueday. I’ve wanted mine done for years as now after having 1 children a a/aa is to big for me I literally only have nipples this would be my first summer have totally nothing and I’m dressing it can’t live in jumpers in the summer can you… Abbie said in the phone they try to get there paitients in as soon as they can if that’s what’s wanted so I’m hoping it will be before holiday as long as I’m happy with initial consultation and meeting surgeon… I already have idea of what I want and feel I know all the risks and did a lot of researching over the years… there was a girl I was talking to and she only had her first consultation 27th march and she’s was booked in for 8th may but just got a cancellation on 18th April so she’s only had to wait 3 weeks from start. It depends how flexible u can be with work and kidies aswel. I hope u get in before Huni. Xx

My first meeting with PC, meet the surgeon, pre-op and surgery were all done within 7 weeks, im on post op day 13 and still not very well so if you were having unders you would need to allow a good few weeks for healing also its not just the bust size change the bloating would affect your dress fittings aswell, if they have slots for all of the appointments you need then it’s could be done but theres a 2 week cooling off period that legaly can’t be avoided between your pre-op and surgery date, i honestly think it would be allot of stress for you leading up to your big day but if it’s really casting a shadow over your confidence for the big day then give them a call, good luck and hope your wedding day is perfect xxx

Hi lovely, I had my initial consultation with my PC on the 11th March, I met my surgeon 2 days later on the 13th and booked my surgery for the end of March!

I got late space booking and it wasn’t a rushed decision it’s something I knew i wanted and had researched for over 10 years ! I wanted a really quick surgery date as i suffer with anxiety so waiting for things make me panic even more so getting it all done asap was the best bet for me.

I would really suggest getting your surgery asap if you want it before your wedding as you need 6 weeks wearing your sports bra, until you can lift things and until you’re healed etc.

Wow Eevie u got yours done quite quick didn’t u. What clinic where u at? I was thinking 275cc to start with but after being on this for 5 days and seeing everyone’s before and afters I’m more swaying towards 350ccs as the amount of money I pay and the boob greed most us woman get when we have none. Hopefully when I meet my surgeon I’m offered 350s.. my skins quite stretchy since I’ve had 2 children and them being full of milk. I’m so impatient honestly if I can’t get them done soon am going to have to wait until august September xx

I’ve no idea what I’m doing for my hen do, but it won’t be anything strenuous or active I don’t think…id have to check with my sister!

Thank you everyone for your replies, I’ll go to an initial consultation and see what they say as suggested. It’s good knowing that it can be turned around quickly after an initial appointment, I thought it’d take ages!

Yeah in only a 6-8 and I want to look as natural as possible but 1 think I’ve learnt from this forum is most don’t look natural until 6-12 months post op so it’s a long waiting game after your op too… I hope you find a solution as wedding days a big day in your life but u could always ultra boost them you’ll get sorted. I’ll let u know how I get on on Tuesday x

You may have to wait as you have recently had a child and stopped breast feeding? I breast fed and when I stopped I could still get milk out of I squeezed hard enough, but I’m not a doctor but it’s something to consider xx

@chloemsx Thanks lovely, I’m really pleased with them so far and can’t wait to see what they will look like when they are fully healed!
I was told by my nurse 6 weeks upright but then she said well 2 weeks upright then you can lay on your back (but I’m going to double check again) it’s actually ok as long as you have the right pillows and things!
I am so petfried of needles and I’m ridiculously squeamish but oddly I found the drains more of a weird feeling than painful, I was told how to breathe when they took them out so it would hurt less. My ribs feel a bit bruised now though I think maybe it’s from the drains but it’s not stabbing pain more a dull ache.
Ye that’s fine it’s around £4995 I think for day cases and around £5395 if I remember correctly for overnight, I stayed overnight as I have anxiety and felt more comfortable having nurses around me the first night to reassure me everything was ok
    Xx

Joanna I had my 2nd child 15 months ago so milk is gone now I didn’t actually breast feed my milk just came in as usual and they went huge then deflated to nothing. I would assume your right though if you still have milk I can’t emagine they’d be able to operate… eevie what r the drains? Like tubes to drain away any fluid or something? How long do u have them in for? Ohhhhh right I think most people don’t stay overnight due to the extra cost but with your circumstances it’s obviously better u payed that bit extra to ensure you where ok… the amount of money it’s also going to cost us very small chested girls for a new wardrobe is a whole other cost in itself isn’t it I can’t wait until I’m recovered to go shopping thankyou for telling me what u payed as I’ve only saved enough for my op so adleast I know now to keep saving for a new wardrobe… adleast your in the recovery stage now and there only going to get better aren’t they. Also for the size u are now what sports bra / Macom and size r u wearing? Xx

@chloemsx they are inserted when you’re under and they drain any blood and fluid around the implant, I don’t think every surgeon uses them though. I had them in all night as I stayed over but I guess a few hours for day patients.
In my Macom you just order your back size there’s a chart of what back sizes are equal to the sizes xs s m etc and they will fit any cup size due to their design xx

I only breast fed my little boy for 12 weeks, but I did see somewhere that a surgeon won’t operate until at least 6 months after you’ve stopped breast feeding.

I just wanna fill the bags of skin I have on my chest!

Thank you for sharing with us Eevie, I’ve found out more on this forum than anywhere else and it’s absolutely great ????

Oh right just I’ve seen some use the macoms but some find them to uncomfatable but I’m guessing the not supposed to be if they’ve to hold everything in place and when your swollen and sore it’s going to be irritating isn’t it… I’ve seen some us the m&s high impact sports bra with the zip up which looks quite comfy and can use in future maybe for excercising … I think I’ll get a Macom when it comes to it as it’s only I one time thing and even though there 40 it’s not a lot if it’s going to help heal and get the best results then I may get some m&s ones for maybe 2 weeks post op when I’m uncomfatable… can’t wait until Tuesday and get booked in to meet a surgeon.. I’m going Newcastle clinic for first consultation then hopefully because I can be flexible with times they’ll get me in to meet a surgeon xxx

@v1xta that’s ok lovely glad to help! It can all be a bit daunting, I found the forum amazing pre op and post op 🙂

@chloemsx the macoms are usually recommended by many surgeons but I do have to admit I haven’t found it very comfy. I have ordered the post surgery and high impact m&s bras I ordered a few sizes as I had no idea what I’d be and I’ve found you have to go up a back size as I’m always a 32 but it was really tight so have gone for 34 instead and that fits really nicely I just need to decide which cup fits better now! I posted about the m&s ones asking other girls if they had to size up on the band size and they all said yes so keep that in mind if you do order those ones… it’s probably best to try loads of sizes on in store post op but I haven’t felt up to going to the shops yet. I think the 34D is the one I’m going with in the m&s xxx
