preop blood test

Hi ladies, I’m curious to see if everyone had bloods tests done at their preop? She said as I’m on the low side of the bmi I had too? Now im worrying ???? it’s 19.5 so thought that was healthy

Your weight to height does seem healthy. Maybe she worked it out wrong?
My doctors surgery has a hight, wight and blood pressure machine may try the one one at yours if there is one. Xx

I think I got my height and weight wrong last time.. I’m 8 stone and 5ft3 but I always thought I was 8,3 and 5 ft 2 xx

I had a blood test at my pre op, just because I used to have heavy periods in the past. I never heard anything back after doing it x

Your BMI sounds good! I’m 8 stone (or just under) and 5ft 5 and I didn’t need the blood tests. Usually my BMI is slightly under “healthy”. I would double check with them xxx

My BMI was 19 and I never had blood tests x

My BMI is around 21 so within the ‘normal’ range. No significant medical history and I still had blood tests, I never thought to ask what they were for! curious now! xx
