My cast was on for a week I believe and as soon as it came off I saw the results, after the cast comes off your nose begins to swell again, not drastically but within 4weeks that all settles down (again it’s not huge swelling or anything that is noticeable really but the nose will get smaller, when you first see your new nose when you take the cast off that it is more than likely the end result my nurse told me, so the extra swelling in between does go) also I had an open rhino with Dr Giannitrapani, he was very straight forward, told me what could and couldnt be achieved, I found that you don’t go in there with a picture of someone’s nose you like and their able to give this to you (unlike with a breast enlargement this is alot more possible to achieve) but they will show you some of their own results with noses similar to yours and similar outcomes, it’s really about your confidence with your surgeon and how much you like their work and if they’ve operated on noses similar to yours in the past etc. What surgeon are you going with and when’s the operation ?xx
