I workout with weight and my surgeon told me to avoid any chest exercises as it can displace the implants (I had uplift with unders) I know many people still carry on with chest but I wouldn’t risk it

You can 100% do weights and push ups again. Most fitness models and female bodybuilders have implants and they train hard in the gym. Obviously you need to be careful when first going back into the gym but it is definitely not permanent Hun xx

I had unders and my surgeon said a simple no as the muscle will push them outwards. All other upper body exercises are fine.
If you’ve had overs then I think it’s completely fine to do chest.
If you go on UKmuscle forum there are lots of body builders who have deformed implants from doing chest with unders

i hope not, if i cant work my shoulders or do press ups that will be a proper downer. 🙁 i’m having sub partial?

Some surgeons will state this as they have to obviously cover their own back, which is understandable. My prep coach and surgeon both told me I can still train chest with partials/unders as I will need to for my competitions, also I was told I would most likely get rippling if I had overs and had low body fat, so on stage that wouldn’t look right. But obviously each to their own 🙂 x

@kellyhalse I’ve had partials with Traynor, he said if you do a lot of chest exercises they can squash the implant and make it look like you have 4 boobs instead of 2. x
