Hi girls posting loads on this forum tonight got lots to share hope yas don’t mind! I arrived this morning in Preston at 7 admission time was 8 i didn’t arrive at hospital until 750 due to getting lost and Google maps sending us to a car park instead of hospital this is due to temporarily roadworks my pc emailed me directions to take a alternative route but where wrong so thought I’d post on here for any girls who have there op in Preston in near future.
Use Google maps/satnav up until leaving m6 junction 32 for Preston (i came from north.)
Keep to left on m55 and keep in left lane once on sliproad
Once u approach a roundabout take the first exit to the left (garstang rd)
Take 1st exit just after you’ve left roundabout
You’ll see the diversion signs. Once at next roundabout go straight ahead (b6241)
At next roundabout take first exit (left)
Take first left again (yes is says no access sign ignore it’s access only)
U should now be on d’urton lane follow country like road until u come to a head over bridge and take your first right once you’ve driven under it and u have arrived hope this helps
