Prickly sun burn feeling and sharp pains in nips

Hi girls I just wanted to check this is normal? I’m 9 days post op and been experiencing this! I’ve read on here if they feel hot like sunburn it can sometimes mean an infection??? xxxx

Is the burning on the incisions or in the boobs? Any redness around the incisions? Sharp pains in nipples and burning feeling in boobs is normal – as long as it’s not constant and very painful I’d say. have you had your nurse check yet? xx

Its just in my boobs and nips chick, can’t feel incisions at all, yeah had it yesterday nurse said I’ve healed well!! I just get really scared at every pain I feel that’s something’s wrong lol! I’m experiencing the shooting pains in only one nip!! So wierd xxx

I’ve got shooting pains and the feeling of tearin in just my smaller boob, can’t feel left at all and pain killers isn’t helping with my right. It’s my smaller boob so not sure it its the muscle stretching more or not? I’m not sure weather to be worried or not! My op was yesterday! Is that what you have hun? Xx

Yeah babe! That will be the skin stretching I reckon!! I’m the same have more pain in one boob then the other!! I don’t think you should be worried Hun unders are painful! I can’t believe your nurse told you not to take ibropfren though! I was prescribe 400 mg tablets from highgate! I think it helped loads with swelling as it’s an anti inflammatory, if your in a lot of pain id ask your nurse for change of meds babe I know everyone’s different but 1 day post op I was still pretty much only uncomfortable, I’m in more pain now 9 days post op lol! Xxxxx

Careful not to take too many pain killers you’ll get constipated 😉 lol the sharp pain is your nerves stitching back together apparently bit if you’re worried just give them a call Hun x
