problems getting out of bed

Has anyone having problems getting out of bed, im having problems even lifting my head and cant even raise my body or head at all. Im having to get someone to come and place one hand behind my back and physically push me up …is this noraml? Xx

I felt like this for the first few days I wouldn’t push yourself anyway get as much help as you can I’m 8 days post op only now I can get out of bed or up in my own. X

Hello Hun,
I’m 3 days po and sometimes struggling to get up without help too. Hubby is just helping by putting his hand on my back to help me a bit, other times I can do it myself just using my tummy muscles! I think it’s quite normal. Hope your feeling better soon xxxx

I’m 11 days post op and mornings are a lot better. At first I had to lie there for ages to build up the courage to move! I felt so heavy like I had two weights stuck to my chest. It definitely gets easier 🙂

I felt the same but always got up myself it hurt dunno if I can explain it well but the way I did it was but my foot outside the bed to help pull up…tense my stomach loads then lift up ……….xxx

Thanks thought i might be the only one lol …im lying for like an hour scared to move or trying to tense any part of my upper body my ribs, stomoch and back is absolute agony 🙁 i dont think i prepered myself for the pain and read to many storys how girls were up and moving cleaning ect after a couple days lol hopefully it goes away in around a week im due back at work :/ xx

Oh bless you 🙁 I felt awful yesterday and was really struggling to get up but as today has gone on I can def notice a difference and things are easing up. Just remember that each day is sure to get better and listen to your body. Don’t push things just because you have read that others can do this or that doesn’t mean you will. Everyone is so different. I felt like I sailed through my csection with my twins and so didn’t expect to struggle with the pain of this like I did yesterday! Just look after yourself and try not to rush it xxx

I was the same Hun. My fella had to come and move my legs off the bed then push me from my back x it only lasted about a week or so xxx
