    Hi girls

My op is booked for October, I just wondered whether anyone has had their surgery lately and how they found the process and new procedures? Do they make you have a covid test a few days before?

Also how was it going in for the op on your own? Very nervous about nobody else being able to come in! X

Its honestly nothing to be worried about. Just have the mind set that your going to have the most awesome procedure that will make you happy for years to come 😁🙌🏼

I wasn’t worried as this was now my 2nd BA. I’m also a ward nurse, so I’m used to the hospital environment. I had my by 2nd BA last Thursday with Transform. My first one was with MYA- nothing wrong with MYA I just didn’t fancy travelling to London as Transform is about 25mins away from where I live.

The only thing I would advise is when you book your Covid test, make sure it’s 3-4 days prior to surgery date. As I was advised 3-5 days by my PC.

So I did mine 5 days before, and the pre op nurse said I did mine 1 day too early. So had to go back and get it done the day before my surgery. Both results cane back the day following if anyone was wondering how long it took for results to come back.

As for day of surgery. Mainly gel your hands and wear your mask before entering the building. All the best everyone. Xx
