As my title says, for those post op, how long did you wait before fully submerging in the bath? I am a big bath fan and have had loads since my op but I’m sick of floating above the waterline. I’m almost 5.5 weeks post op and considering dunking myself in the bath I’m currently sitting in. Just wondering how long other’s waited before giving in…

Secondly, my nipples. It’s really bothering me!! No matter what I wear, as soon as I get the slightest chill my nipples are showing through my clothing and it’s embarrasing!! I wasn’t planning on buying any padded bras as I’ve worn them since boobiehood and that’s the reason I chose to have the op, but I’m beginning to consider it just to hide the nips!! They’re still stupidly sensitive but getting better, I hope it eventually reduces back to normal, but god knows how long that’ll take. Does it bother anyone else?

Hi I’m just over 2 weeks po and OMG I get you on the nipple sensitivity and them constantly saying Hi ? It used to take a lot for my nipples to go hard now there never soft ??? I’ve also noticed my nipples and the skin on my boobs is so tender and saw to touch I’m thinking maybe it’s just my nerves inside my boobs re attaching and getting back to normal x

I wear a bra most the time but if i am wearing something without i use primark nipple covers cause I can’t cope with how easily they’re hard haha, super cheap and work great.
The bath thing, i waited about 12 weeks but ask at your 6 weeks post op appointment cause i think its safe to at that point i was just too paranoid to try xx

I don’t have a six week appointment, it’s booked in for the 12 week mark (I haven’t gone with mya) :/ I have no idea why it’s booked so late. I walked away with three appointments and that was the consultant date given to me ??‍♀️

I’ve thought about the nip covers, might have to pop to primark! 😀

Talking of boobs though, I went to m&s to get measured today and have come out a 32F … bigger than I thought. Absolute nightmare of a size for bras though ? I’m not buying underwire just yet, but just browsing I noticed how little there is over an E and those in F available in store to try on were all 36/40f type sizes.

Sorry for the delayed reply ladies!

Before the op I was fitting in a 34b/32c. I had 375cc anatomical implants over muscle. They look brilliant though. Although, I often wonder if I should have gone bigger as when I’m dressed they don’t look big. But then, I think I’d have regretted it. I’m really happy with how natural they look and they suit my body. I look forward to wearing a bra that compliments them, rather than hides them away!

I’ll try and remember to take a photo tomorrow and show you how they look. I haven’t taken any since I had my bandages off at 2 weeks po.
