Hi all,
I am now 9 days post op, and although the main pain has gone and I can now move my arms again, I am still constantly uncomfortable. I have a pain in the middle of my chest – almost like a pulling pain on the inside of each breast. It also weirdly feels like something is poking the very center of my chest, but there is physically nothing there to do so. I am assuming this is just my muscles adapting to the implants (I had partially under the muscle placement), and that the discomfort will be due to the muscle stretching.
I rang my nurse who said this is normal, but after reading way too many things on google I am just paranoid it could be due to the implant rotating? (I had teardrop implants) I keep my band on almost all day and all night, and haven’t done any strenuous movements since my surgery. I am still sleeping on my back every night but have woken up a couple of times ever so slightly on my side, so just a little worried now…
So yes just curious to see if anybody else on here has experienced the same sort of pain and discomfort, and if so, when does it bloody go??!!
