Has anyone else put on weight during recovery? I’m a regular gym goer and haven’t been able to do anything but walking and I’ve managed to put over half a stone on. I was about half a stone over what I like to be
(During summer periods) which means now I have over a stone to lose. Is this going to have a massive knock on effect to my boobs and make them saggy? I’m literally gutted and there’s nothing I can do about it until I’m allowed back in the gym ?
Hi Daniella. I had the exact same thing happen to me! During recovery I didn’t move around much but I think I ended up comfort eating to try and cheer myself up when I was feeling in pain or uncomfortable. So I ended up gaining over half a stone. I’m 6 weeks po now and my surgeon has told me I can start light exercise as long as I find a bra which literally prevents my boobs from moving at all as I have quite large implants (just measured at 32FF). I’m worried that losing weight will result in my boobs looking saggy so I’m going to try and take it slowly. Only by losing weight really quickly should result in your skin being saggy so if you just lose 1 or 2 pounds a week, it’s not extreme and hopefully shouldn’t impact on the skin of the breasts so much to make them drop further. It’s still a scary prospect but I’m not happy at the weight I am so I have to take the risk. I’ve bought a shock absorber sports bra which holds me in so well so hopefully I can start my weight loss soon and feel more confident with my body x
Hi Tor, if you go to Victoria secret they have maximum impact sports bras, it has a front fastening cup bra and then it zips up over the top of that and they don’t move at all! But yeah in exactly the same position!! X
