Question about day case surgery

Hi ladies, I’m in for my rhino surgery on Monday and I’m a day case, I was just wondering do they have a television in the day case room as my mum is coming with me and don’t want her to be bored and senseless whilst I’m having the surgery done? Also how long did everyone stay in there room until they was aloud to be released, and what should I take with me on the day xx

Hiya, i had a ba as a day case in fitzroy and there was no tv, i also was sharing a room that i wasnt informed about. It was fine though as nice having someone to talk to in same position.

Thank you, I suppose with having a shared room it gives my mum someone to talk to whilst I’m down in surgery, I’m downloading a film for her on my phone anyway, but then again I suppose she can pop out as and when she pleases x
