Stick to calorie counting 1,200 per day if you are stick will loose 1 to 2 lbs every week on average.

Try to exercise as well, but don’t eat more because of exercising no sports drinks etc.. They defeat the object of dieting. I did weightwatchers and signed up for a marsthon lost 77lbs 5.5stone in 34 weeks since march 21st.

If you want a silly one week diet to kick start you that is bloody hard but works. Hunt online for GM Diet. But, If you are within a month or two of surgery I would not even contemplate it.

Quick diets are never a good idea. if you want any advice, tips etc your more than welcome to inbox me. i was a fitness instructor for 7 years lol and qualified pt. basically what you’ve got to get is an energy output greater than energy intake. healthy weight loss is 1-2lb a week and this achieveable by eating the right foods, at the right time, in the right quantity with at least 30mins of exercise 3-4 times per week. Easy changes are exchanging white bread for brown, brown rice, brown pasta. Cut out alcohol, watch your drinks..people forget about these.. hidden calories. If you have an iphone download the ‘myfitnesspal’ app, it’s amazing! For future ref, the Low GI diet is healthy one to follow xx

I agree with Rachel, quick fix diets may lead to quick weight loss but as soon as you start to eat normal the body will then hang onto everything you eat as it thinks its being starved. The best way to lose weight is being consistant. The best thing you can do which you will notice a difference with is REDUCE carbs, but try to stick to wholegrain carbs where possible. Cut as much sugar from your diet as possible (afterall sugrar is the main reason we gain weight), this includes fruit. Still eat it but dont think just eating fruit will work. Mixed vegatables (green are best) and lean meats such as chicken and turkey! Then if you can try to fit in some exercise this will obvioulsy aid in weight loss. Keep a balanced diet, don’t starve yourself. Think about sizes of your portions and no alcohol! Good luck x

yea you see so many people eating so much fruit thinking they are doing so well, but in actual fact your 5 a day should only consist of 2 fruit and the rest veg, and like aimee said, keep your carbs low-moderate. the myfitnesspal app is very good for this as it shows you where your going wrong with your nutrition. what to aim for and how much your exceeding them xx
