Quick question girls!

I have my op booked for 2nd April, last time I had a conversation with mya was when they phoned to get my final payment. That was about 5 weeks ago now, I’ve never received a receipt for this payment or heard whether or no by blood test results were ok or whether it not they have relieved the ok from my GP! Seen some girls have for to hospital and had trouble as go letter has not been sent. Do you think everything will be sorted next week, just a little concerned as its Good Friday n bank holiday Monday next week then my op on the Tuesday, when do you think I’ll find my admission time out? Hate not knowing everything, I’m a planner and feel nothing is set in stone yet!! Thanks xx

Hi, not long for you now, you must be getting excited! 🙂 I would give your clinic a call tomorrow and have all of these questions ready to ask them, thats what i did! I had to do a lot of chasing for my GP letter, even having to have a phone conversation with my GP, he’d had a month to send it to them and still hadn’t done it, so i would start chasing everything! I’m a bit of a planner too and couldn’t leave it to anyone else to organise, i was too worried it wouldn’t get done! They usually only ring you about blood results if there is a problem, so i’m sure they’ll be fine 🙂 Admission time is usually a couple of days before your op, although i rang MYA 2 days before and she still didn’t know, so i actually rang the hospital and they told me straight away! Hope that’s a little helpful, i was so worried it would be cancelled due to one of these reasons, hope you get sorted xx

Thanks philippa, can’t understand how they can’t tell you admission time until a couple of before, surely they must know?? I’ll give my pc a ring tomorrow hopefully she can answer some of the questions, just wish it was done now, bet the next 9 days drag for me lol. Where did you have your op, n who was your surgeon? I am getting mine done at highgate! I have dr chantrasak, I am currently a 34b and I am getting 345 cc so hoping for a nice full D cup 🙂 I am so excited and nervous so I understand how you feel 🙂 x

I know! I’m staying at a hotel the night before just in case it’s early as I live in Bath and don’t want to risk the traffic being a nightmare haha! How about you?

I am travelling down the day before and I am on a day case and I guess we will get told our admission times in the next couple days? Fingers crossed 🙂 x

@Vicky I’m day case too. I was told we would find out two days before so going to try them on Saturday before, but half expect to find out on the Monday lol xxx

It’s Easter Monday remember so I hope they tell us by Thursday! As I bet they won’t call us on a bank holiday! Lol x
