Quick stocking question

So I left the hospital with them on and the nurse Said to wear them but take them off for at least an hour a day? When she says at least an hour is it better to leave them off for a few hours? And when do we stop wearing them altogether?xx

Ooh good question, I’d like to know as well :P. There’s always things that happen that no one ever tells you about lol xx

I was told to wear them continuously for 3-5 days xx

I took mine off the following morning when I left hospital , if you are up and walking about I don’t think you need them on , it’s only if you are quite immobile for long periods of time to help prevent dvt.

I also took mine off the following morning it’s mostly for if you sat down a lot incase of blood clots ect X

With the “sexy stockings” the advice is usually to wear them if your sitting or laying down for the best part of the day to reduce the risk of blood clots dvt so if you’ve been told to keep them on for a few days it’s prob because they assume you’ll be too sore to be moving around. I’m getting my op today so I can check x

Day 3 was my worst day – not because of the boobs but from the codiene I had been taking !! I felt sick all day and was constipated !! So I stopped taking it and haven’t had any pain killers since , everything went back to normal as I took some lactulose for my bowel and rennie for the heartburn I also had from the codiene . I feel ok now I’m 8 days today – I do feel very tender now , I don’t know if it’s bruising or just the feeling coming back in my boobs as they were completely numb !! I have discomfort from where my bra is over the incisions but I think it’s the strapping I have on too !! Roll on Thursday , I will be 10 days post op and going for my check up and having the bandages off lol, can’t wait ??

Hey Ellie thy said to me to take them off the day after but just to make sure I’m walking around. However in agony today please tell me this pain starts to subside today x

Ah Hun it didn’t for me 🙁
I’ve done barely any walking where I’m in pain and I’m just laid up in bed. My walk and neck is killingg now. If I’m honest I haven’t got much better at all. How you feeling in a lot of pain?xx

Hey Hun – literally in agony today. I can walk around but very slowly and doing anything is a massive pain in the arse think I’m just gonna plonk myself on the sofa and watch Netflix all day and just surround myself with everything I need! Hoping soon the pain will subside a bit. You have told me before but did you have unders? Xx

I say relax all you can n just get up known again for a little walk about if you can. I’m feeling so dirty I hate it 🙁 I had exactly the same as you 375 mod plus unders so I can feel your pain lol. How are your results looking?xx
