Re do blood tests??

Hiya girls

Had a call from the MYA nurse today saying my blood tests need to be re done.. really anxious as to why and whether this will delay my op in three weeks.

Anyone else had to do this??

I never had a blood test and I’m 3 days post op? Confused lol xxx

I had blood test but i think only cos im mix race so needed to get tested for sickle cell.

I had blood tests, I have anaemia so I think that’s why I had them. I know if you’re iron is low they can’t do surgery until you’ve taken iron to get your levels up … but it might not be that. Did they not mention why when they called?

I had to re do mine as blood showed up with antibodies.
I’m black and I found out I am sickle cell trait.
