Im having my reop in the 21st of February and the nerves are getting really bad as i dont want anything to go wrong again. I havent even brought bras yet as im worrying about what size to get as im going smaller. Is anyone else having a op at the fitzroy on the 21st feb.
I had a re-op yesterday & I was more nervous than the first time I got them done. I had one of my implants changed from 375cc to 400cc to correct asymmetry. It wasn’t as bad as the first time, I was up and about a lot quicker and i was in hardly any pain. You’ll be fine xx
Hi girls sorry to be nosey, but how comes you are having a re op? I had BA in November having 375 and 400 overs and still I have one much smaller than the other, I personally think I’ve had the bigger implant in the wrong boob! I need a bigger implant I think but would they do anything about it? The main reason I had it done was for asymmetry xx
Heya hun. I had my B.a in december 2014 and i have built up fluid so i ended up having over a litre removed from one boob and now i have too much excess skin and they have dropped slightly. Im so worried they are not gunna look how i want. And things will go wrong. Soooo bloody scared @jaydem xx
Oh no!! Sorry to hear that ? Did you previously get them done with mya? Your in safe hands I’m sure you have nothing to worry about doll, just think of the end result xx
@jaydem I had my first ba in April, I had a slight size difference in size pre-op but had the same size implant in each breast. My implants exaggerated the size difference so I looked pretty wonky ??. My surgeon told me at 3 months that I’d probably need to have the left implant changed for a bigger one to make them more symmetrical but wouldn’t make a decision until my 6 month check. Thankfully at my 6 month check he said he could get them looking better and booked me in for a reop.
It’s worth talking to your surgeon about your concerns when you go next xx
Oh I see! That was nice of him! I doubt mine would be so suggesting haha Yeah mine was smaller then the other before that’s why he done 2 different sizes but now it looks even smaller then before ? I’m gonna mention it when I go back in March for a review with my surgeon, you pay all this money so I think you should be happy with the results xx
You should definitely discuss it with your surgeon if they’re not how you expected. It’s a lot of money to pay out & we’re trusting these surgeons to get it right xx
It was first done with mya but i want them perfect this time and just worried about all the things that went wrong for me last time. Fingers crossed xx
Do you think they will charge to straighten it up? Did you have to pay for your re op xx
Ahh fingers crossed they will be nice to me ? Thanks girls xx
@xxbiiancaxx Heya! I’m doing really well thanks, it’s been so much better than first time around. I worried A LOT more about the reop than I did the first time around but I’m so pleased with the results. My new implant is settling into place now & I don’t look wonky anymore. Can’t wait to get back to wearing normal bras again now! I know it’s hard not to worry especially with what happened last time but once it’s done I’m sure you’ll be wondering why you worried so much ? If it helps you, before your op chat to your surgeon about your worries & get him to talk through his plan for your op & his expectations for your results, I did it with my surgeon when he came to see me on the day of my op & he was fantastic with me, it really put my mind at rest xx
@bex684 oh I’m so glad your ok and enjoying your boobs. I’m so bloody scared because I don’t want it all to happen again. Honestly my anxiety is through the roof and keeping me awake at night due to worrying about what’s going to happen. I’m having skin removed and pushed up and smaller implant and just worrying about it all xxx
