I had my implants put in 10 days ago and whenever I take my macom off I feel like they are so heavy and literally pulling down the skin from my chest. Does anyone feel like this and how long does it take to get used to? I

Hi bonnie, I’m now 8 weeks po and this feeling has definitely been gone for a few weeks now. I know exactly what you mean but I think it’s partly a feeling of the skin stretching. The heavy feeling for me gradually started disappearing as the day progressed and then to only being there when I first got up in the morning. It did seem to reappear a little when I could stop wearing my Macom but 2 weeks later it’s completely gone again. Xx

Kayleigh, I hope so! Literally such a strange feeling.
Nikki, that’s so good to hear! Right now it feels like my skin has stretched so much I’ll never get used to the weight. Hopefully it’ll gradually disappear. I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling like this I’ve just never seen anyone write about it in the forum. x

I genuinely don’t notice mine now. The other thing I experienced early on was like a contracting feeling in my whole boob – like the skin was totally tightening and then releasing again which was very odd but that’s also stopped now. Xx

Hi girls, I didn’t have a breast and so can’t comment. I just had to wear a Macom bra for 6 weeks which was bad enough so really sympathise with you! Xx
