    Hey girls,

I’m having my op on the 18th December, so excited but really scared.

I’m having 550cc. So worried that I’ve gone too big? I’m also worried about the op and after.

    Any advice please x

Dont stress i am the biggest worrier honestly. The whole process on op day was fine i would go back and do it again tomorrow. As for recovery i would never say i was in oain just ached and felt i lost abit of independence but its only for a short time as long as you have people to help you for the first week you’ll be fine
    Best of luck ?

I would recommend a v pillow for sleeping and a hot water bottle for your lower pack, also zip up / button up clothing, im 11 days post op and still cant pull clothing on over my head xxx

@beccs good luck to you too! I bought one macom bra and one m&s zip front ive found them both pretty comfy, i got my m&s one in a 34 back although i am usually a 32 as i was very swollen and bloated for th first week. Hope this helps xx

Im feeling ok now thanks feel alot more independant my OH works away and has been away for 3 days now i have managed fine with my daughter on my own (7yrs and 4yrs) which i was a little worried about. I still dont feel like i could drive yet as my boobs get really achy if i do too much. My stomach was really bloated the first week and mow its gone down im worrying my bra isnt tight enough to support me…. Dont know if its beacuse i was used to it being so tight! Xxx

That’s reassuring to know that you’ve coped with 2 little ones by yourself☺️ Which bra is that in your pic ? Would you advise getting a Macom ?

@beccs the bra on my pic is m&s it was £25 and was great in the beginning usually i am a 32 but i got a 34 d and it fit great but now my swelling and bloating has gone down its too big so im using my macom now. I would recommend getting one of each. On the day of my op i couldnt get my macom on as i was too swollen xx

Hi Anni (@neiceyx) sorry I didn’t see your question my tag is KH77.
I had only half of what tou had lol, 275 hp partials. Was your admission time 11am by any chance? How are you feeling now?
I left yesterday at 5pm ish so not too bad. Woke up in recovery and went straight back to sleep was taken back to my room at 12:15pm. The dosed most of the afternoon, felt some pain so was give tramedol. This made a bit difference but was so sleepy, had my tea and toast and started to feel sick. Did you find it hot in there yesterday, think this made me feel worse.

Had ice on all afternoon this helped with my left side a the top, think where it has gone under the under the muscle. Removing the drains on this side was the worst, the right side was I didn’t feel a thing.

Sleeping sitting up is a bit of a pain but sure I’ll get used to it xx

My admission was 7.30, went down at 11am, so You were just before me then ? Yeah sleeping upright is a real pain trying to find the comfiest pillow in the house ?. Been taking regular pain meds but yet to take the co cocodemal. Going to have some after breakfast ? Been keeping the ice on which seems to be helping.
Wishing you a speedy recovery too xx
