Really tight stretched skin? Was anyone worried?

I had quite large implants (520cc, 34a) so I obviously know my skin needs to stretch. Just wondering if anyone experienced the skin at the bottom of their sternum an cleavage really stretched an tight, like away from the bone? I’m only second day post op but a little worried as I’ve googled it an read a few things on symmastia?! Never heard of it before. Any advice really appreciated xxx

Mine was exactly the same really really tightly stretched I was a 34b and ha 525cc it gets better as the days go on I’m now 7 days post still stretched but no way near as much xx

Aw thanks makes me feel a little better. Was u worried? Think I’m just having a panic and googles made me worse!! I knew it would be stretched but it’s the bottom of my sternum where it’s pulling away from the bone that’s concerning me, was urs like that? Thanks xx

Mines the same and I only had 415cc haha it freaks me out to touch it!

I’ve got the same, I’m 7 days po and had 325’s from a 34A, it worried me at first but I shoved a pack of frozen peas down my sports bra and that seemed to help it go down and soothed it quite a bit too x

it’s called skin lift, mines quite bad too, however when the nurse was explaining about it she said that as the weeks go by it will gradually go down which will pull your boobies together giving more cleavage x

@megan I had 560cc and mine was raised like that too. It does feel horrible, but the plus side is that you know your swelling is going when it goes down. I’m 5 weeks post op today and it has gone down 90% I would say, I’m hoping it goes down all the way and is normal again. x

Thanks karrin, it’s a relief knowing its normal. Was really panicking today. That’s the only bit that’s sore really. Can’t wait for it to go down! Xx
