Reassurance?! Can any one relate?

Hi girls,

I only had my op 2 days ago (20th) but my boobs seem so far apart. I know they’re swollen and tight anyway but has anyone else thought they seemed far apart immediately post op and then they’ve come closer once the swelling has reduced etc?

I had 450cc unders. Can anybody relate? Xx

I haven’t had mine done yet but I am booked in with Dr traynor and when I met him he told me however big the gap is in the middle before you have surgery won’t change after so for some people they don’t come closer it is probably best to ask your patient co ordinator though.

Thanks for your reply Jessica, I had Mr Traynor and he told me that also but my boobs before were never this far apart and you can even see on the lines he’s drawn on me that they are further away than before. I’m hoping it’s just the swelling that’s making everything appear far apart xx

I only had mine done Tuesday but I’ve dubbed them frankenboobs, they’re high and square and look like they’ve fallen out! They weren’t like this before X

Yeah mine are similar, my nipples are really pointy too! Xx

Hey sweetie the gap will close a little with unders but there will be always be a gap as the the chest muscle that incase them keeps them up but they will settle down but could take up about 6 months recovery time xx

Ahh ok thankyou chick, I was just worried because they’re further away now than before ? But I suppose I’ll wait for all the swelling to go down and give them time to change xx

They will be lush chick I had to go from under to over the muscle I miss the way they use to sit high xx

I’m so happy you posted this! I had mine done on the 20th, have 325cc overs and they look identical to yours.
Mine are so hard, a bit cone shaped and far apart. Reassuring to hear that this is normal for this stage of post op xx

Both of yours look really good! I feel like mine have no shape to them at all from the front! Xx

See, I think both of yours look really good! Not rammed under the collar bone like mine. They’re square from the front and coney from the side. I’m trying to tell myself to remain patient x

I think yours look really good! Mine are coney from the side but I think everyone gets that until they settle! Also my sports bra is tight when I’m upright but when I lie down and my boobs sit on my chest it goes more loose?! Is it supposed to be constantly tight? Xx

Put a Macom on it makes a difference I used one from tesco in early days and the gap got bigger xx

I was so flat chested to start with that my gap actually seems smaller to me. I’ve been using a Macom bra and tried an alternative yesterday and it was sooo uncomfortable so I’ve gone back to the Macom. Xx

Mine aren’t sitting too high at the moment, but the main problem is from the side they look like triangles stuck to my chest. I was given a compression band that goes round my whole chest rather than just the thin ones to push the boobs down and it’s literally like being tortured ?
I read one girl is 6 weeks post op and still looking like this. I don’t think I could handle them being rock solid for that long xx

girls i think urs are all fab, i cant remember the girls name now but i saw a post on here were hers were cone shaped and they went lovely and round and squishy.. they were gorgeous xxx

I agree with becki think you all have great results! Hope mine come out half as good 🙂 keep us updated, I’m having unders 350 or 325 in 2 weeks time xx
