Hi Ladies, So basically i’m starting to fret 🙁 My boobs feel as if they are really, really really swollen but due to sticky strapping there’s just no where for my boobs to expand to and the pain is immense my right rib is really painful and i’ve got back ache and its a little bit hard to breath but only sometimes, i called up the emergency number yesterday and the lady said she was going to call me tuesday and maybe see about removing the strapping then as i’m not sure i can do this till friday it feels sooooo tight and painful 🙁 My arse is painful just cause i’m either always sitting on it or sleeping on it if that makes sense….I was just looking for some reassurance really and that this is normal the nurse said it was but i cant help but feel like my boobs are gonna explode or i’ve got a hematoma and i don’t know about it cause of the strapping…. 🙁 xxx
Who did your surgery? Was it Dr Singh? He straps everyone up and doesn’t use drains? I really struggled with my strapping and couldn’t wait for it to come off but when the nurse did she ripped all my skin! x
Don’t worry about getting it removed sooner. Think of all the girlies that don’t have strapping at all. Just have a good sports bra at the ready. Try not to worry about the pain and the swelling huni I’m sure it’s nothing serious we just all think the worst straight away. Just look forward to seeing your new boobies on Tuesday 🙂 x x x
Don’t wore ts not going to stunt or disrupt healing, some ladies don’t have strapping at all! They do say you ca use ice packs on your boobies, if it is swelling this will help to settle it! Maybe try going for a short walk in he sunshine to get the blood flowing round you body if our bum and back are hurting, ladies on ere say a short walk does you the world of good! Try Stay positive Hun and keep on top of those pain killers!:) hope you feel better soon! Just out of interest are you taking arnica… That is supposed to be fab for swelling and bruising! Xxx
Aww Thank you girls 🙂 Yea your both right….i think i will go for a walk a bit later plus it’ll get me out of the house 😛 I’m such a wuss puss lol You have both eased my mind lots though 😀 xxx
Strapping is such a nightmare. Try not to panic hun, its all normal and you’ll be fine, just see what she says tomorrow.
You could try pineapples or pineapple juice which helps with inflammation. Also the Diclofenac tablets, on their box they say they are for inflammation as well as pain.
As soon as you get that strapping off you will feel miles better. xx
I’d get it removed early , Mr Mounir did my operation and he doesn’t use drains or strapping . My breasts look and feel fine I just make sure I keep on sports bra all the time even in the bath. The nurse even said to me if I want to take my bra off for ten mins- half hour whilst I chill on the bed then I can do xx
@Karrin Yea i May have to invest in some things like that then as well to help it……Are arnica and Diclofenac herbal type tablets then that you can buy in the shops??
@sam smith Yea i think its gonna be that way i just can’t see me lasting till friday with it on i have a Macom bra and a M&s bra so im hoping that they will do the trick once its off….xx
Ohhhhhh right….they gave me Co-amoxiclav which i think is for infection and then co-drydamol also…..my partner gave me some tramadol just cause the pain is horrible ….i do feel like a titty La La i must admit…..Ill have to go with pineapple juice i think cause they sell that in the shops lol xx
Awww I feel your pain, that’s how I felt, was so tight I couldn’t make my 1 week appointment, I’m glad about that now couldn’t imagen someone ripping it of, I did it 1st thing in morning so I was half sleep and the strapping made me sweat so was easier to pull of, try drinking lots pineapple juice, I waters mine down because it wa to strong but iv found it got rid of a lot of my swelling, hang in there, it all be worth it promise 🙂 xxxx
