RECOVERY – what can / can’t you do?!

Hey girls,

Just had my hair appointment cancelled on me and the soonest they can reschedule for is 3 days after my op! I’m just wondering if this is a complete no go, or would it be at all possible? Just need some advice on how you were all feeling 3 days post op. I might sound crazy for even considering it but I have my hair coloured and I’m completely desperate! And I don’t want to go to anyone else. Also, I’m having overs xxx

Day 3-5 is usually the worse but I’ve had unders so it could be different. If you need to have your hair washed I doubt you’ll be able to put your head back 3 days after without it being very uncomfortable hun and getting back up from sitting is not the best.. I’d give yourself the first week at least for recovery xx

I had my lashes done for 2.5 hours 2 days after having overs and I was fine! Everyone’s different but you’re still sat up as you would be at home and having your hair washed for you will feel a treat! I’d book it and see how you feel but I would’ve been fine to after mine! I feel worse now in week 2 haha xx

Recovery seems to vary so much. There’s no way I could have done anything in the first week, especially days 3-5. I had overs and my actual boobs didn’t really hurt but I felt generally sore and fragile in my upper body and definitely didn’t want to leave the house. I think resting as much as you can in the first week or so is a good idea even if you feel fine, it’s a lot for the body to deal with so the less it has to cope with other than healing the better.
