Reducing scars?

OK so I’m thinking ahead as I’ve not even reached week1.
But I know I scar badly as I have dark pigment skin (south east Asian). And I don’t heal as well as all my white friends 🙁
These scars look hella big, has anyone got any tips on how they reduced the appearance?

Use scarnox gel a week after you have your stitches removed, i am saying a week to ensure that any small holes left behimd after the stitches removal close. Never place any scar gel unless your wound is ???? dry + completely closed with no discharge whatsoever. As soon as you are like that start straight away to avoid being scarred. Use that gel twice a day for 2-3 months its magic. Its a canadian brand, if you don’t find it in pharmacies order it from Amazon

Hi Hun I used coconut oil on mine and mine are hardly noticeable now I’m nearly 7 months post op xxx
