Hey girls x
So I went from a 32b to a 30e in August. I can’t believe it’s been 5 months already. But in those 5 months I really haven’t seen much progress. As in parts of my boobs are still numb to the touch, my nipples are still reallyyy sore and I feel like they haven’t dropped and fluffed or softened much at all. They still look really fake, round and stuck on. Which is exactly what I didn’t want! They’re making me feel big all over and now I’m starting to think I went too big, I’m even starting to think I shouldn’t have got them at all! It’s so horrible feeling like this because obviously it cost me a lot and it’s life altering surgery. Has anyone else felt like this? Will they still change and soften up? Would love to hear your experience and advice.
Thank you xx
Could you post pics so we can see what they’re looking like 5months post op? xx
You’re quite petite and you already had a 32B, you went with 400 HP (which I believe is quite the max a ‘generous’ surgeon would offer). Some pics would help a lot, but I think since you go for such big implant in a small frame and on a ‘already b’ cup breast, it’ll take longer for your body to accept it, the recovery will be harder and longer than usual.
From what we know now it seems that you went a bit big but we have to see some pics in order to say better our opinions.
Just imho.
Here is a pic of what they look like currently x
Thank you so much for your replies so far xx
I would be surprised if they change much now. Overs dont change that much afterwards anyway.
Not only did you get a big implant but its high profile.
I think your pic looks good but they do look big on you, im guessing you pushed for this size/look as wouldn’t have thought a surgeon would offer someone looking for a natural look on a small frame such a big inplant?
I think they look great and suit you! But if it’s not what you expected I can understand why you’d be down.. I’m not sure what to suggest but that wait it out until a year post op to see if they will drop more? And go from there, but I really do think they look great xx

Lucy, they look fab, they are exactly what I’m hoping for. I think you may just need to get used to them xx
i think they look incredible!!! My surgery is in 2/3 weeks and I would be so so happy if mine came out like that xx
Thank you everyone so much for your advice, comments and reassurance <3 some days I love them and some days I hate them. But like some of you said I’m still getting used to them. I’m just wondering if maybe I stop wearing my post op bras? Because I want them to drop a bit! In some lights they look amazing and in others they look too round and stuck on x
Hi Lucy, thank you for the pic. They look amazing, it’s a great result. Yes it is big for your frame but they look very nice and they don’t look super fake..at the end of the day there are some women that naturally have big ones. I think you should be happy with the results 🙂 In few years later if in case you need a 2nd surgery then you can go opt in for sightly smaller if is an option, so don’t worry about it for now you can only have them and love them. Good luck!
Hi Lucy,
Me personally, I would have loved mine to have turned out like yours. I think they’re lovely. Mine are a bit smaller as I had 325cc.
Remember it can take up to 12 months to see the final result. I’m sure they will soften by then x
Wow I think they look amazing but I see what you mean they are big on your frame! If I were you I would stop wearing your post op bra as yes I think they might drop a bit x
Thank you all so much for your comments 💕
I’m starting to wonder if all this comes down to is me choosing the wrong placement? I’m starting to think I should’ve chosen unders rather than overs. I originally wanted unders when I first decided to get a boob job years ago as they were known to be the most natural. But then I got told that overs actually look more natural these days as they are not restricted by the muscle like unders are. I then saw a lot of overs pics on here where the breasts looked so full and natural, so that’s what I decided on. I had two consultations with my surgeon and placement was barely discussed, only size. He asked if I wanted unders or overs and I said overs and nothing more was said. The only time it was brought up again was when he was drawing on me just before theatre, he said are you sure you want overs and not unders, because once I go over it’s very difficult to go under. Obviously I said over because I wasn’t going to make a big decision like that just before surgery. If he had said this in my consultation then maybe I would’ve thought twice about placement. I just think it was a weird time for him to bring it up. Anyway, I’ve since been looking at photos of unders with bigger implants, and I really like the look. I also didn’t realise that unders are nearly always partials, where the top half is under, to hide the top of the implant, and this is actually the look I wanted 😔 the trouble is so many girls on here get unders because they haven’t got enough breast tissue for overs. I was seeing their pics without being able to relate. I feel there aren’t many girls who opt for unders with big implants. I don’t hate my new boobs and I’m still hopeful they will change a bit. Not wearing my post op bra seems to be helping. And I know it’s not the end of the world as I can always have revision surgery in the future, and opt for unders this time (if I can find a surgeon who is happy to do this). So sorry for the longest post in the world! Xx
