I can’t wait Jade, unfortunately my implant ruptured so having 695’s removed and replaced with 800’s. What are you having? Mr MArcellino is my surgeon xx

@hetty hey Hun, thank you 🙂 this is my 3rd BA. 2009 was my first, 2011 capsular contraction, now 2017/18 rupture…….
My right breast felt softer and when laid flat on my back appeared empty in comparison to my left fuller rounder breast. I went to the doctors and they actually told me I was fine and there was no rupture but you know your body so I paid privately for a scan and they confirmed rupture and that was in November 2017. Fingers crossed no problems this time. I had no symptoms with my rupture and my breasts still appear normal when standing. Hope this helps xx

Ah I’m having Mr Marcellino aswell and it’s my 1st BA so I’m quite nervous! I hope it all goes well for you! Did you go through Mya the 1st 2 times? I just asked this on another thread but did u have to pay where it had ruptured and obviously because your going bigger this time?

@jadeb yes all BA’s done through MYA. The capsular contraction was covered by MYA but this time I’m having to pay as I’m out side the 3 years regardless of the change of implant size. Awwww thank you. You too! Don’t be nervous, I never regret getting mine xx

Can I just ask…. I know u have to have a tube to help you breath during surgery but as your asleep I take it you know nothing about it? Also have you had Mr Marcellino every time? Sorry for all the questions!

It’s ok happy to answer…… I had Dr Singh the first two times so I’m quite nervous having a new surgeon tomorrow and I want bigger implants than I know he is happy doing. You know nothing about the tube lovely, it’s put in when your sleeping and they take it out before you wake up. Dont worry you will be fine. They are great at MYA xx

I didn’t get the chance really to meet any other surgeons because of the urgency to get this ruptured implant out but Mr Marcellino made me feel at ease and was very thorough. You’ll be absolutely fine Hun. You’ll be so excited to see your new boobs you’ll forget everything else xx

Im having a re aug soon as have slight waterfall deformity after 1st op so having implants changed to 600+
I had 425 overs and was empty c
Whats recover like 2nd time round is it as bad as first time or bit less??

Hi Hun hope your recovering well! I bombarded you with a load of questions on Saturday in M&S lol how canny was that lol can’t get over how calm you was 2 days before op…I’ll be an anxious mess lol…let us know how you got on xx

Thanks lovelies, op went well. Apparently the rupture was a right mess and there was silicone leaked everywhere. I’m currently sat up in bed with drains as I chose to stay the night at the hospital.

@kathrynw of course it’s ok to add me. I find recovery time is less with each BA, skin is already stretched etc and you know what to expect. What is waterfall deformity? Xx

@mamfajones how are you feeling lovely? We are going to have to grab a coffee when you are recovered. Op went great! I haven’t had any extra pain relief post op yet but will about 12ish. I have drains in and been spoilt with tea and toast lol xx

Waterfall deformity is where your natural breast tissue hangs off implant
I have a mild case luckily
I googled it and was shocked at how bad some cases can be
Im hoping just larger implants will fix it as really dont want scars from a lift but wont know till my final appointment 14th feb

I have recently discovered that one of my implants has ruptured, I was just wondering how long was it from when you told MYA to you getting an appointment for surgery? Also did they replace both implants or just the one that had ruptured? Do you have to have them replaced with the same size implant or could you go smaller or bigger? Hi Rebecca I have recently found out that my implants have ruptured. I have a feeling my right one is going to be a pretty bad, I see you have mentioned that yours had leaked all inside. How do they clean it out? Just waiting on my appointment and feeling a bit nervous. Also was it more expensive because of having the extra job of cleaning too? Sorry for all of the questions xx
