Removing sterile strips

Hey girls, so today is finally the day I can remove the last of the strips covering my incisions and I’m bricking it! I just don’t want to remove em and my incisions start bleeding or oozing anything nasty else I think il faint lol!! Does anyone have a pic of what the incisions should look like if they are ok/healed so I know what I’m looking for? The nurse said they should be scabbed over but won’t the tape pull the scab off eeeew!!

I was exactly the same as you! Totally petrified!
There’s a picture of my incisions as soon as I took of the tape so feel free to add me and take a look.
Just make sure you pull them inside out ie start from your inner breast and go outwards.
You’ll have scabs which means there healthy, things to look out for are redness, weeping or any part of the incision that still looks open.
