Absolutely!
I was a JJ cup and told my surgeon (Mr Singh) that my desired size was around a DD so I would be losing at least half of my breast tissue.
I already knew from previous googling what the surgery involved and what the scarring is, if you’re unsure, feel free to add me and look at my pictures.
I took a total of three weeks off work, they say you only need two but after those two weeks off, I wasn’t quite ready to go back to a hectic retail job and so took an extra week. The healing process for a reduction is a lot longer compared to the girls who have enlargements, we have far more complicated incisions and so my advice would be, be patient! I’d forever go out of my way to recommend MYA as a company because they’ve been so brilliant with me.
Pain wise, everything I’ve mostly felt has been discomfort and mild pain rather than anything that’s unbearable. It’s difficult to do much in the first couple of weeks and to be honest you shouldn’t. Rest, rest, rest and ibuprofen is a godsend.
