Researching Breast Reduction

Hi, I’m new to the forum. I just wanted to ask what people’s reviews of breast reduction from MYA was like.

I’m so confused by the different providers, but for some reason MYA always stuck in my mind.

I’ve been wanting a reduction since I was 14 (31 now) and have been dead set on it since then… I’ve just been nervous about choosing who to go with.

I have a 32F chest and want to have them reduced to a 32DD.

Can you tell me your pros/cons of your experience with MYA?

Welcome to the MYA forum, I think it’s really good that you’ve been researching lots of different providers because I know I didn’t myself. Have you had any consultations with companies yet? Because that could be a good way to see how you feel about them and what vibe you get…

Wow, that’s a long time but it’s good that you are dead set on what you want! I promise you know it’ll be the best decision you’ll ever make. Have you had or wanting any children any time soon? Because they recommend doing that first before a reduction as it could alter your results in the future, but every woman is different and they might not change at all. As for the reduction of cup size it doesn’t work like that, they just reduce and reshape your boobs to look in proportion with the rest of your body, but I can well imagine them being that size. Mine now look about D or DD.

The reason why I choose MYA is because an ex colleague had a boob job with them about 10 years ago and she couldn’t recommend the company enough, so I trusted her & she was right! They are an amazing company, they’ll listen to your needs, plan everything out for you & stay contacted with you, they’ll recommend you the best surgeon that they think is fit for the job, I originally was meant to have Gary Traynor but he said my boobs were too big for him so I then went with Mr Mahdi and he was the most nicest man I’ve ever met, listened to my worries & I couldn’t stress to him enough how much smaller I wanted them.. he told me exactly what he was going to do, went through all the complications with me etc, he just made me genuinely feel safe in his hands!

The first trust hospital that I went to was also amazing, the staff were so nice, the nurses couldn’t do enough for you if you needed them. The theatre staff and anatheatist were great & made me feel relaxed and comfortable and I knew I was in good hands!

The after care at MYA has been excellent, genuinely can’t fault the nurses, when I had the Op my right drain wasn’t in properly so I’ve had issues with healing & been having 2 appointments every week, I’ve even seen my surgeon at 4WPO & will be seeing him again in about 3 weeks time.

Only downside with MYA is after speaking to others who haven’t been with MYA they’ve paid much less so they do tend to be more expensive than other companies, but for what you pay I can’t fault them! Also I paid my surgery off in one go so I had less stress to deal with if I did finance, not sure how the finance work for interest etc.

If you do decide to pick MYA I honestly don’t think you’ll regret and I highly recommend Mr Mahdi he is a miracle worker ??

Hi did you just have a reduction? What size was you and what size now?
