Hello All! I am having my BA on the Friday 10th October with Dr Singh. Unfortunately I have to go back to work as Iam on a course on either the Monday or Tuesday which means only 3/4days after my operation. I was just wondering if anyone else has been back to work as soon as this and if they were ok to do so? I will only be sitting in a class room learning so will be doing nothing to strenuous. If anyone could give me any advice in keeping myself as comfortable as possible it would be brill x

I had my op on Monday & was back in work last night 4 days post op! I work for myself didn’t have to do anything strenuous the most I had to do was walk around & be careful I didn’t get knocked I also do nights but I was fine…I was tired but I coped ok however I’ve been lucky I don’t have a lot of pain. Maybe take a pillow for your back so you are comfortable in the chair only trouble you might find it hard to concentrate with the painkillers x

I’m having my breast reduction on wednesday and am taking two weeks off! I work in a very busy retail store and I know it will be very easy for someone to knock into me. I also have a little more healing to do than those who have BA’s (more incisions, eek!)
