Returning to work

My op is booked for the 18th and I am due to return to works 11 days post. I work in an office and currently all of my work clothes are dresses etc so go over the head.
I don’t want to have to buy a few shirts etc if I don’t need to as I will never wear them afterwards so I just want to know how long you all took to be able to get clothes on and off over your head??

Im 4 weeks post op tomorrow and I can get stuff over my head if i can get one arm out and push it over my head. If i have to pull it with both arms over my head i cant. I also wouldnt be able to unzip/zip anything up the back either cos it just pulls too much. I had overs aswell so would imagine it would be worse if you were having unders/partials x

I’m 10 days post op and I can get tops over my head but I struggle getting them off! Not impossible but a little harder than getting them on! Xxx

I’m having unders… Oh gosh this sounds like all my wardrobe will be off limits….

So I best look at getting some tops and trousers/skirts sorted… Buggar! Lol

I’m 10 days PO and had unders – The first week was a bit of a write off but I am now back at work and managing to wear all my normal over the head clothes. Just takes me a little bit longer, I’m sure you’ll be ok x

you’ll be fine, I brought some button up clothes, it was pointless, only used them for the first couple of days, then I put them over my head, and I was in loaaaads of pain after my BA, so you’ll get them on! Xxx

The first week I wore blouses as it was easy to put on , now I’m 2weekd post op I can nearly wear any thing , although I still struggle to put on some clothes over my head if the item of clothes is tight ..,but it does mean you have to be patient and take your time …

By the way , I had unders .

I had particles and really wasn’t effected like some of the girls on the 4th day everything was easy. I’m back to work on my third week of recovery and it’s a physical job. I’m not a week post op and honestly feel fine, can lift arms etc. Though I need to take it easy for healing. It definitely depends on the person!
