Revision surgery

Hi girls

Has anyone had to have revision surgery through Mya? I am waiting for a date as I have capsular contracture and the process is taking forever, just wondered what everyone else’s experiences have been?

I have, my surgeon agreed to do the surgery again on the 17.7 had to go to head office to agree to pay and had re op yesterday.. good luck xx

Ive been offered it but haven’t started the process of seeking a date or HO confirmation etc….
Do you mind if i ask Shona is it both breasts or one? xxx

Hi I had revision surgery last Tuesday and it was covered by MYA. I even left it for 2 years as I hoped things would change but unfortunately they didn’t. I had 350 unders but had double bubble. I saw my surgeon every couple of months and in the end he decided revision from under to over the muscle with a slightly bigger implant was the next step. He had to fill in a form and take pictures of why I needed a revision and it basically needed authorising which takes upto 3 weeks. They then let you book another day. I will be a week post op on Tuesday and so far so good. Just hoping they won’t need doing a 3rd time as I don’t fancy having another operation again!
