I decided to have a re-augmentation because i dislike the size i chose. I am going max 100-125cc more under the muscle like what I originally had. How painful is the second surgery? I need details about the entire experience because my initial augmentation was soooooooo painful, probably the worst experience of my life by far. But the doctor is convincing me that the second one wont be a quarter as bad as the first since the pockets have already been made and thats the most painful part of the surgery. But I don’t believe him, he didn’t tell me i was gona be in that much pain the first time ao i cant believe him now, i need realistic expectations, i think what made my experience worst the first time is that i had rosy expectations thinking things would be as smooth as cream and then i faced the reality which was a nightmare. So now I don’t want to do the same mistake again
Hey just wondering are you having to pay for revision as it’s due to size or isit free? Just as I’m not currently happy with my size. X
Hi @lala111 i had it quite easy first time around anyway so not sure this will be useful or not but id say second time is easier, when i woke up from surgery i was in more pain second time but i had some repair work done it settled after some pain meds an didnt return so was pleased with that. Then afterwards just abit of an ache really didnt get the tightness like first time didnt need to use ice or anything. I went from 400cc to 500cc so not much difference the main reason for surgery was some pocket correction i just changed implant size seen as i was being opened up anyway i thought i may aswel an thats the biggest he would let me go. I will attatch a pic so u can see what difference 100cc makes x
Top 400cc bottom 500cc x
Hi chloe not allowed to discuss prices as its individual, like i say i had a revision not for size but for pocket correction so not just upsizing. Had it of been just upsizing i wouldnt of had a revision as my surgeon wouldnt of given it me as size isnt guarenteed x
hiya hun I had my first Aug July 2017 with lift aswell, instantly I knew within the first 7 days that they weren’t right I had a great surgery first time round didn’t take any pain pills from day1 at all , anyway fast forward 6 months I spoke to my surgeon who agreed that I would need revision surgery which would include full breast lift again with new implants and pocket repair. I had my surgery last Wednesday and let me tell u it wasn’t nice I woke up being sick in recovery in awful pain being sick for the first day, since being home I’ve felt sick every day been in awful pain unable to move my arms , I didn’t take any pain pills again simply because of how sick I’ve been feeling, ive not coped very well this time round, but there is a noticeable difference this time round my new breasts look and feel different so upto now they look great, just hoping that I start feeling better as I’m back at work in a week x
Hey Girls, thank you so much for your honest reviews, i am glad i now know what to expect, I shouldn’t rush through anything and take my time thinking about it as i will also be having some pocket correction and thats mainly why my surgeon wanted to re-do it but then I thought to myself why not change the size as well. @louisek i am not in England hun, i had it in Egypt, my surgeon said i will have to pay for my implants obviously because its my choice to change them, hospital fees as well but he won’t take any money for his own work as he calls it “continuation” of what he had done. I had an uplift as well and nipple tuck with aerola reduction first time besides the augmentation
what is pocket correction? x
They make a pocket for your implant to drop into .sometime it’s not big enough and that’s when your boob doesn’t drop properly x
