Rhino post op

Hi girls

Just wondering how long you slept upright after your rhino for? Also did you use the spray and did you touch the blood? My nose is completely blocked but scared to touch it. Thanks xxx

Hello Hun I had my op on 8th April and i’m still sleeping upright. I’m really really blocked up. I have left everything as it is though as I was under strict instructions not to touch it. I haven’t used the spray either as Mr G told me he preferred if I didn’t but that it was my choice. I’m getting the cast off tomorrow so hopefully the nurse will clean off everything or at least give me the ok to clean everything.

Hey! Aw wow you’ve slept upright for so long – well done. I can’t sleep sleeping upright but I’m going to try do it for as long as possible. Yea I’m tempted to just leave the blood even though my nose is just completely blocked in both nostrils. Oooh how come he didn’t want you to use the spray? Maybe I won’t use it then. I tried to use it yesterday anyway and it doesn’t do much because its too blocked to go anywhere. Good luck with getting your cast off! How was getting stitches out? Did they clean it a bit there?

I had my op only a couple of days ago. I feel a bit better today, I wasn’t used to the cast at first and felt really uncomfy but each day will get better. How was your recovery? I’m surprised at how minimal my bruising is!! XX

He said I could use the spray if I wanted but that he prefers if I didn’t as it would allow the nose to do it’s thing more effectively if that makes sense. So I haven’t used the spray, I figure he’s the boss ;o)
They didn’t do much cleaning when the stitches came out and it wasn’t painful either. How are you getting on?…xx
