Rhino with Dr Andrea G DONE!!!!

Hi Girls,

I just thought I would update you with my rhino journey so far.

I got admitted into hospital at 2pm and had my procedure at 4:30pm. My room was comfortable with wifi and tv and my own bathroom including a shower! The nurses were lovely to me and Dr Andrea came in before surgery to talk with me he also took pictures of my nose from all angles and told me exactly what he was going to do! Which is exactly what I want and more!

I am not going to lie after surgery I was in pain (but I am a baby who can’t handle any pain) but the nursers gave me strong pain killer and after that I am now more uncomfortable however my throat hurts!

They pack your nose with cotton wool which they want to take out 3 days after your op and then you came back 7 days after your op to get the splint off and stitches.

I am bruised but only in my left eye and not severe, I took arnica pills a few days before and will continue to take them to get the swelling down.

Throughout the night I woke up most hours and did not sleep well at all!

Even after all this I am just so glad and excited I had my nose done and I trust Andrea g 100% – I will keep you updated with my pictures! And specially before and after as I know how important they were to me!

Wow you didn’t have long to wait. Glad it all went well. Dr g is lovely isn’t he.
I’m surprised you had pain. I really only had a mild ache. In normally circumstances I don’t think I’d have even taken anything. Anyway um glad it didn’t last long. Hope you are feeling more comfortable now. It’s so strange when they take the packing out. It feels like you have a huge hole on your face because you can breath so clearly!! Enjoy the journey. Yes he is so lovely and I was so glad I didn’t have to wait long!

I’m having packing out today I can’t wait to breath again – and I have been in lots of pain and needed pain killers – I’ve not really been able to sleep either! I just know it will get better in a few days! My eyes are fully swollen now and can hardly open!

Hi Jade 🙂 I actually get my cast of today so I will be able to tell you if I actually like my nose haha! But I had open rhinoplasty I had a slight bump and also wanted the tip smaller! I really like Dr Andrea he told me exactly what I needed and was very friendly and put me at ease before the surgery! I would 100% have a consultation with him! xxx

So I’ve had my cast of and I already love my new nose!!!!!! And then woke up this morning and it’s so much more swollen has this happened to anyone else????? xxxxx

How exciting. Glad you love it already. Don’t worry about the swelling. It’s normal. Make sure you still sleep upright and drink plenty. You’ll notice you have good days and bad days. Mine even changes from morning to evening! Have you got pics? Wld love to see

Can’t see pics. Swelling should have gone down a lot in a week but as I sat I’m 5wks po and still little swollen
