Rhinoplasty

Hi. I had my closed rhinoplasty with Dr G on 11th December. My cast comes off 23rd December. When did peoples stitches fall out?

The stitches don’t fall out, they dissolve inside your nose. You will notice if you can smell something funny!

Mines are annoying and I just have thick blood stitches and I can’t pull it out.

I noticed the smell about a month after the op and realised a few of the stitches near my nostrils weren’t there anymore! I know it’s really annoying and there’s stitches poking everywhere and crusty blood blocking your nose but it will clear in time it’s definitely worth not picking it you don’t want to pull a stitch out by accident! X
