Rhinoplasty Cast and Swelling

I had open rhino on the 1st May and still have my cast on, I know that when my cast is off my nose will swell but I am concerned that my nose is still a bit bigger than I wanted in the cast. Just wanted to know if my nose in the cast will be quite swollen? And if after you’ve fully healed anyones nose was smaller than it was in the cast if that make sense? x

yep definitely swelling dont worry, my nose was swollen in cast and when it came off it swelled really bad but now 16months on its so tiny! xx

Oh thats brilliant then, thank you. Just see lots of people saying straight after cast is off they like it then swelling sets in. Started to have a panic, see girls talking about boobie greed wishing they had gone bigger and I was getting nose greed wishing I’d asked for it smaller ha! x x

Do you know what….when my cast came off I was sooooooo pleased that I had that orrible bump taking off my bridge of my nose that even with the swelling I thought it looked friggin’ bloody lovely…LOL! Im 6 weeks PO now and all the swelling has completely gone ~ at least in my opinion 🙂 xx

haha nose greed, everyone is different the more you have done the more swwelling youl have, i had sh*t loads done so my swelling was sinister but it was all worth it. saying that when the cast was first taken off it was so small then 5mins later it swelled up like i just been beat up! itl be ok tho dont worry xx
