rhinoplasty, need some advice please!

Hey, I had my consultation with the surgeon yesterday, and I’m considering having a nose job, I really really really realllllllllllllllllllly want it doing, I’m just PETRIFIED of needles, I’m SOOOO scared about all of this! I recently went to the doctors for a check up and the nurse said I was due for a flu jab and I wouldn’t even have that done.. That’s how scared I am of needles. They scare me so much, is there anything I need to be worried about or am I just being silly? Does it hurt? Will I feel any pain at all after the surgery, like when I come out? And also days after? What’s the worst part about it all? Help would be much appreciated, thankyoooou! xxx

Who did you go and see? Im also the same hate needles! ive booked my op with dr G on the 27th of May and I want it dont that badly i think I will be fine with the needles! apparently if doesnt hurt at all just a blocked nose for a week or so and sleeping up right etc.

I had my rhinoplasty at 9.30am I’m at the fitzroy hospital in London travelled from Manchester on Wednesday dr G did it its not has bad has I thought I’ve had the worse nights sleep the last week prior to the op. but I can not see the result properly but I can see no bump and its straight has I had to have mine rebroken x

Me too!!! I’m petrified of needles but I really want it doing. We’re both just gonna have to be strong I guess and think of the result after xx

I’m having a ba and closed rhino in the same op on 26 march, I’m petrified but so excited too. I’ll let you know how it goes and upload pics after x

Dont be worried! I cant even remember a needle when having my rhino done.. I think my emotions wer all over the place with thinking im gonna have a new nose in a few hours i completley forgot bout all of that!.
