Hi all I’m 3 wks post op today and healing fine but I’ve noticed a pain in my rib on left side under incision which is getting slightly worse ? It’s not agony and no signs of infection etc but it just feels like a pulling bruised pain and im a bit worried :-/ has anyone else had this ? X
I think I’m having this on my right side slightly. It feels as though its behind my boobs almost? I’m 6 days post op and its only started last night but it has gotten worse. I’ve also got a twinge in my incisions 🙁 I’m worried too! Are your scars uncovered? Mine still have plasters over so I cant see, scared that I’ve opened them up or something 🙁 xx
Awh ladies sorry you’re in pain, I get this odd ache sometimes which feels like its in the rib cage but just for a second and I’m 8 weeks post op. I had it yesterday and I think that’s because I had a less supportive bra but when u put a more supportive one on they’ve been fine. I’m not sure about the reason behind it but I remember having this during early post op stages and it went away but rare occasions I get it now such as yesterday when I wore a less supportive bra. If it is consistent and gets worse maybe ring the nurse though just to be on the safe side,
Hiya thanks yeah my scars are uncovered now – I was on this forum as mumto3 Claire previously but deleted my old acct as worried about my pics being on the net ! I had 400 cc overs with traynor like you did Ria we chatted before 😉
Still feel bruised in rib area but can’t get through to mya and my nurse best friend says it’s normal as the feeling comes back to feel bruised and sore xx
