Ride boob still hasn't dropped @ 3 months!!

Hi girls I’m 3 months 2moro and my right boob is still being a pain, my boobs look abnormal in pictures now because my left one has dropped really well and did very early one but my right is still up there, so my left is a lot lower it looks awful I haven’t put a new pic on because of this, they look like 2 complete different boobies and different shapes has anyone else had this 3 month on xx

Hi paula, I’m now 15weeks po, my right boob was very slow to drop it just started to drop about week13, was really worried as my leftie had dropped after about 4weeks so were quite different for quite awhile.now at 15weeks they look the same although am still abit numb in my left one, I’m sure they will sort themselves out but if its worrying you I would ring your nurse and put your mind at rest xx

Hi Paula, I’m nearly 4 months post op and my left is still higher and isn’t fully in the crease when I raise my arms like the right one. I have to do a daft massage technique for 3 months to assist it and help soften it up a bit. I go back in 5 months for another check-up to see if it’s helped. Can I ask, did you used to be Peeps on here? And if so, can I add you again x

Hi Sharon yeah it’s me ha ha, I deleted my account then realised I couldn’t live without this site so had to open a new one, well my traynor said no 2 boobs are exactly the same and he didnt think there was a problem at all no cc, is the massage helping I might try it xx

Lol I know what you mean, I think I’m addicted too! I’ve been on hol and have missed my daily fix! The massage has not really done any thing yet and my scar is still about an inch lower than my boob but I think it’s still early days. I’ve been naughty though and not done it on hol as its quite uncomfortable but I’ll start again tonight. I would just check with Mr T before you do it though as its quite an agressive technique and I wouldn’t want you to do yourself or your boobies any harm. I have to lie on my stomach and rock side to side on the problem boob for 2 mins- ouch! I thought Mr Mounir was joking at first but no, he believes it helps but I think every surgeon has his own opinion on whether it helps or not. I’m glad everything is ok with yours hun , its a pain though when they are taking time to settle though isn’t it x

God that sounds really painful I can’t even lie on my front still!!, well mr t said I didn’t need to massage he’s so laid back, said I could go back any time if I needed to ask anything or I was worried. I’m still 100% happier now than what I was and I’m sure you are too, it can take up to a year to see final results apparently xx

Im early days at 9 days post op but hoping you ladies can help!

When do they start to drop?
What massage helps them drop?
Does dropping help with projection?
Does it hurt?

Hi Katie, everybody heals differently but my left boob dropped within a week my right dropped after about 4 weeks but is still a little higher than left, I’ve been to see my surgeon today who is mr traynor and he said I didn’t need to massage but every surgeons advises different things. It’s just a matter of time regarding dropping xx

Hi Katie, they can take up to a year to settle fully. Massage should only be done if your surgeon tells you to massage, as it may do more harm than good, especially in the early days.

I’m nearly 4 months post op and have only recently been told to do it as one of my boobs is harder than the other and has not dropped as much as the other, bear with them hun as you’ll see a lot of changes in the coming weeks x

Thanks sharon – do you get more projection/fullness at bottom of breast once dropped?

I had overs so they’ve always been very full Katie, but I do have a slope now they’ve dropped and more fullness at the bottom . I had high projection implants x
