Ridiculously swollen tummy 3 days post op.. Help?!

I know the anaesthetic can bloat you up and make you constipated but I’ve been to the toilet fine and don’t feel bloated. My whole tummy is very swollen I look pregnant and feel absolutely ridiculous my glands on my face seem slightly up too, is this normal? Any other girls had this? Making it hard to enjoy my new boobies when I feel and look like the elephant man 🙁 xxx

Totally normal from what I’ve heard.. My belly is swollen too 1 day post op it’s the fluid moving its way out of the body. Give it a few days. There’s so much patience involved in this quest for perfect boobs. ???

It’s so annoying isn’t it haha! I worked my arse off in the gym before this to get my weight and body into a shape I was happy with since I’m gonna be out for a while and now this! I’ve heard cocodamol isn’t great for bloating either so I’m gonna try come off that! How’s your recovery going Hun? Xxx

Yup luckily bloating isn’t weight gain and it’s always more obvious to you than it is to others. My recoverys going really well, I’m in no pain at all at the moment, just stiff. I’m obsessed with my new Girls, just can’t wait for the strapping to come off! ?? I can’t think about anything except boobs at,, so good job I’m not at work ? how’re u feeling, have they softened at all at 3 days post op?

That’s so good to hear! I think you’re either really lucky with pain and in agony or have hardly any! I’m great thankyou I’ve been lucky like you too and I’m managing fine! Was in asda shopping the morning after washed my hair yday & went for a nandos and costas haha! They’re a little softer on top but still very “coney” swelling in between it mental! Did you have overs or unders? Xxx

Haha you’re well on the way then by the sounds of it! I didn’t enjoy coming down from the anaesthetic but since last night I’ve been pain-free so fingers crossed. Even the drains removal wasn’t painful. Can’t wait to wash my hair but I might be able to do that tomorrow.
I had partial under/over, they look kind of torpedo like under the strapping at the moment which is super tight. What tops have u been wearing so far, I’ve only been able to war my zip up hoodie, not tried anything else. Xx

I think i did try and do too much in my first few days, they gave me extra pain relief and a drip when i woke because my bp was so low and i think whatever they put into me masked the pain for the first few days coz todays been pretty bad! Hoping ill wake up feeling better tomorrow but i think my overly swollen not pregnant pregnant tummy is sending me into an emotional wreck hahah! Ive been really lucky actually just wearing normal clothes! I didnt have strapping just two little bandages over my incisions but i wish i was strapped up coz im forever altering my breast band so im worried its either overly tight or not tight enough! I dont feel like they even look bigger in tops at the minute coz theyre so wide still! Have you had a bath yet? Im dying to get a proper wash! xxx

Makes sense about the extra pain relief that u had. I was in super agony as soon as I woke up so I ended up having three doses of oral morphine yesterday, as well as other strong stuff. That might be why I’ve not had pain today. I’ve got a feeling there’s pain to come ?? interesting how you didn’t have strapping, I’m kind if glsd I’ve got it cus I want to peek and fiddle, so it needs to be out of my reach ! What size have you got, I’ve got 350ccs hoping to be a C. I’ve not bathed yet no feel gross haha. Early night tonight gonna see what tomorrow brings, xx

Wow your results are amazing … Yours look a lot bigger than mine in the strapping … What size cc did you have …I can feel a slight pulling on my Incisions when I do anything did you have this ? Hope you don’t mind all the questions … X

I had 500cc, it felt like my top ribs were really hurting then about a week ago I noticed these tight lines like cords under my incisions i was told it was Mondors cord nothing to worry about just caused through inflammation and will go on its own, I’d say yours is just from the surgery as you only had it done yesterday try not to do to much I think that was the mistake I made, I don’t mind any questions at all Hun feel free to ask what size did you have? I had 375/350 hp partials that’s the biggest he would go … I’m hoping for a full d .. I’m gonna try and do as little as possible …i just can’t wait to be able to see them and I hope my incisions are healing as I haven’t got the best skin and sum of my scars are a little raised but I’m hoping they won’t be to noticeable xx

My incisions pulled loads Hun to the point I was worried I had split my stitches trying to do too much. I’m 5 days post op now and they look tiny to me today! I don’t know if it’s my mind playing tricks but they seem so wide too, hoping they’ll fluff in time but my incisions are sooo itchy now! I had 375 HP and I’m struggling to fill my D cup now swelling is going 🙁 xxxx

Hi Aimee … I’m 2 days post op and the pain is getting worse and not better ?…. Also I feel really small but trying not to think to much about it as loads of girls on here have said the same and then loved them so I think we need to be patient … Did you have partials ??? …have you got strapping on ??happy healing babe and I hope you feel better about the size soon xxx

I had unders babe I’ve seen people say they have to fluff and drop so I’m hoping I’ll love them once they have! Ive no strapping either just two sticky plasters! I wish I was strapped then I couldn’t take my band and bra off to look at them so much hahah! It gets better babe honestly I was the same by day 3 I was in meltdown crying on the stairs because I couldn’t move thinking I’d made the wrong choice but I woke up yesterday feeling loads better! I think they drug you up so much in hosp that doesn’t really wear off for a few days then it totally gets you! How are you feeling in general just sore? Xxxx

I’ve woke up today feeling sick and really tired …. The pain is ok until I move and also my stomache is really bloated and haven’t been a toilet since Friday so hoping the tablets kick in soon …. I hope i start to feel better soon ?
