As much advise would be highly apperciated guys, im 5 months post op, adore my boobs however my right boob is rippling after going back to the gym, its only getting worse as its becoming more visible. I do loose weight very quickly but i want to go back to the gym and tone up? Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anyway around it? Or do i have to gain weight to stop the rippling? I havent been in 3 weeks not gained weight but the rippling is no better!

Really do want to get fit and tone up is this possible without my boobs looking horrid?

    Advise much apperciated ladies!

I would advise loosing weight before having the op as obviously loosing weight is the pain cause of rippling and thin skin! You can’t really do much about stopping it if you want to look weight and you have already had them done, iv heard of fat transfer ? But the only other solution is putting weight back on and keeping toned otherwise you will have to downsize implant and there is still chance of rippling xx

This is the crazy thing i was 8.5 stone before my op, and im now just under 8, so its not like ive lost stones of weight! This only happened after a week of going back? So irritating! I dont know if to train my top half and try form muscle over the implant or what?
Was hoping for gym addicts to give advise! Because this is crazy, and have no idea what to do about it, really do not want them getting worse xx

Because. Your going to the gym it will be getting worsen now! I do workouts everyday but only to my bottom half , did you have thin skin before ? As that’s most probably why as well xx

I might try just doing bottom half and hope for the best! My consults said to ring the nurse so going to give her a call tomorrow! Not sure about my skin being thin? If it was surely my left would be rippling like my right? The only thing i can think as tl maybe why! Is im right handed? Strange conclusion but hey ho aha! Xxx

Im worried about rippling so I never do anything that would make me loose weight I just make sure I tone. doing sit ups squats and going on the bike wont affect your boobs, Well both boobs are different so it might of been on your right your skin was a lot thinner I had that problem, I would put it down to you being a A cup before (I just read a earlier post with size) so you didn’t have any breast tissue before hand to cover the implant so now its resulted in some rippling and because of working out its going to make it more visible! try not to worry stick to just your bottom half, I would go see the surgeon if I was you so he can suggest some things xxx

Hey huni rippling can happen to anyone they say if you have unders they have more chance of rippling as muscle can latch on it as this happend to me but mine didn’t ripple every time I lift somtthing up with my right hand my muscle grabs hold of the implant and squeezes it up tight or they say it could be the implant being to big so they may take the implant out and place it over but normaly they just unlatch and that’s the end of that x

The only way to get rid of ripples is weight gain OR a fat transfer, might be worth asking your Dr if they offer transfers? Sadly ripples can occur with overs or unders and often theres little we can do about it, even with weight gain, you can’t *choose* where to gain the weight so it’s a bit of a catch 22.

Thanks for the feed back everyone! Makes me feel better on here when im saying my boobs have rippled to people theyre like ahhhh shut up! But its a pretty big deal to me, learning to just ignore it abit as its not always visible! Fingers crossed for when i go to see the nurse.

Hey @charshaw91 … you say you were 8.5 pre-op but now just under 8.. you’ve got to remember you boobs would have made you quite a bit heavier too; so really by the sounds of it you’ve lost loads of weight or did you take that into consideration. Hope you are able to sort it hun 🙂 xxx

Hey @adrianna i was 8.5 pre op and then if anything gained like a stone’ish after due to doing absolute nothing, then i now weighy just under 9! So its not actually a drastic change! Still fit in my old clothes i did before my op, my implant size also isnt drasticly big because i wanted to be in proportion! 🙁 but yes thank you! Im giving the nurse a call today! Fingers crossed! Xxx

I don’t think yours are rippling it’s. Just the muscle grabbing on to the implants xx
