So when I met my surgeon he said I have very thin skin so would have to have unders as I’d have endless problems with overs. At 2 weeks post op the swelling started to go down and I could feel they certainly weren’t the unders I should have had. Recently found out I’ve got partials although they feel like overs to me!

Anyways I’ve felt lots of bumps and lumps along the inside of the cleavage particularly on the left boob but still some on the right. I mentioned it to the nurse and she played it down saying it will change wait till six weeks and you’ll be fine and settled. Now I’m six weeks and it’s of course even more obvious, I’ve gained weight over the past six weeks and certainly done t want to gain more to cover it.

Mya nurse said I’ve now got to wait till 12 weeks to see the change ?. When I lean over you can see the dodgy shape and it’s really obvious to feel in any position. The left boob sits abit differently to the right. So just feeling abit gutted about paying all this money to have been given something he told me would cause problems all along.

Now I’m gonna assume they will say this isn’t covered although I was told everything is covered by pc and never heard of rippling until googling last night (although I’ve been aware these bumps aren’t right since my strapping was removed).

Any advice? Anything that will help? Does it get worst overtime?

    ?

I’ve got exact same rippling too, everything u describe I have! Ive had it since the early days (I’m 2 & half yrs p.o) I don’t think they will re-op because of it. In my experience it hasn’t got any worse and I’m used to it now and my friends say that u can’t notice it unless I bend right over! It’s not ideal and I wish I didn’t have it but it’s the risk I took to have a biggish implant, in hindsight I wud have gone for smaller implants but then I prob wud have wished then that they were bigger lol! I do love my boobs though despite the rippling – it’s easy to hide & u always think it looks worse than it does x

Thank you Suzanne, glad to hear it hasn’t worstend over time for you. I had never heard of it and don’t even no it was a risk if I’m honest. I think I am paranoid about it but I’m hoping getting some new bras will help me fall in love with them!
